Mr. William David Floyd, 49, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 18th, 2011. Mr. Floyd was born in Florence on June 1st, 1962. He was a son of the late John David Floyd and the late Annie Ruth Feagin Floyd, and was the husband of Tina Lenora Lynch Floyd. Mr. Floyd had been employed as a threader with Nan Yan Plastics for over seven years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and NASCAR – especially driver Jeff Gordan. Mr. Floyd had a fun-loving personality. He enjoyed seeing others happy and making people laugh. Mr. Floyd lived life to the fullest and was a “one-of-a-kind” man. He was devoted to his wife and family, who were his world. Mr. Floyd will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Mr. Floyd‘s surviving family includes his wife of twenty-nine years, Tina L. Floyd, of the home; his children, Bridgett Denise Floyd (Toby Parker), of Lake City; William Brandon Floyd (Brittney Watson), of Lake City, Samantha Blair Floyd, of Lake City, and William Lloyd Jones, of Rock Hill; his two grandchildren, Adelynn Grace Owens and Cadence Elizabeth Floyd; his two sisters, Susan Dennis and Debra Ann Floyd; his two nieces, Amber Cozad and Melissa Richburg; and his two nephews, William Richburg and Zach Dennis, all of Lake City. The family of Mr. Floyd will have visitation from six until eight o‘clock p.m., Tuesday, June 21st, 2011 in the funeral home. Funeral services for Mr. Floyd will be held at two o‘clock p.m., Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011 in the Family Worship Assembly. Burial will follow the funeral services in the Lake City Memorial Park.
