Daniels, Lillian Wilson

Lillian Wilson Daniels, age 85, died in Lumberton, NC on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Richland County, SC on September 10, 1925 to the late Claude Clifton and Eva Rebecca Sharpe Wilson, Sr. Mrs. Daniels raised both Barbara and Carey with her love and total devotion. She was a pharmaceutical assistant at Johnson‘s Drug Store. Her career continued at Pine Street Hermitage Pharmacy and she retired from Eckerd Drug. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by an infant child, Preston Alexander Daniels, III; a brother, Claude Clifton Wilson, Jr.; and a sister, Evelyn Hornsby. Mrs. Daniels is survived by a son, Carey Daniels of Lumberton, NC; a daughter, Barbara Daniels Lewis and husband Richard of Fairfax, VA; six grandchildren, Ricky Lewis, Jr., Sarah-Amanda Lewis, Cassandra Lewis, Penelope Lewis, Gwendolyn Lewis and Joshua Daniels and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church (Blythewood) in Columbia, SC with Rev. Reginald Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbia, SC. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
