Cherry, William Francis

William Francis “Frankie” Cherry, 54, went home to be with the Lord and joined his waiting loved ones on Friday evening, June 17, 2011, at the Tidelands Community Hospice House. Mr. Cherry was born a son of Charles Edward Cherry and Sarah Jane Cherry on November 13, 1956 in Georgetown. He was educated at Howard High School and was a part of the Prince George Episcopal Church family. He was a former machinist for RL Morrison & Sons and Halsey-Cannon Boat Yard. He was ornamental metal artist whose restorative work and original designs can be seen throughout the Georgetown and Charleston area.
