Sprouse, Ginnie Keesee

Ginnie Keesee Sprouse, age 82, died Friday at her home. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was known to everyone as “Memaw” and she loved to cook. She is survived by her sons, Boyd Sprouse and wife Teresa of Lakeview, NC, Ira Sprouse of Lewis Center, OH, sisters Louise Fika and Becky Ledford, both of Vero Beach, FL, Grace Knepp of Crystal River, FL, Joann Allen of San Angelo, TX, Barbara Haynes of Union Grove, NC, and grandchildren, Zack, Nathan, Rachel, Corey and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy F. Sprouse. Family will receive friends following the service and other times at her home. Memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, PO Box 356, Southern Pines, NC, 28388. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Gregg Newton, officiating. A Graveside Service will be conducted at a later date in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
