Mauldin, Edith Elizabeth

Edith Elizabeth Dutch Mauldin of Laurel Hill passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the age of 84. Mrs. Mauldin was born in Scotland County on September 13, 1926, She was the daughter of the late Edward Dutch and Naomi Postel Dutch and the beloved wife to the late Joe Mauldin. Edith was a precious mother and devoted homemaker and enjoyed taking care of others in her neighborhood. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Addie Mauldin, grandson, Timothy “Runt” Butler and brothers, Archie Dutch and E.H. Dutch. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 12th at Richard Boles Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following at Scotland Cemetery.
