DARLINGTON- Morris E. Miller, age 79, passed away Thursday, June 09, 2011. Mr. Miller was born in Kinston, North Carolina, son of the late Lonnie and Ida Mae Murphy Miller. He was a retired lawnmower and tractor mechanic. He loved his dog Benji, fishing and enjoyed visiting his fellow church members. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife Bobbie Oliver Sellers Miller of Darlington; step-children: Eddie (Debra) Sellers of Darlington and Sabrina (Herb) Capell of Florence; grandchildren: Holly Sellers of Darlington and Bert (Crystal) of Florence; great-grandson, Christian Capell of Florence; sisters: Brenda Moore, Patsy Phillips, Dorothy Price, Margaret Tucker, Ida Mae Moore; brothers: Bud (Linda) Miller, Jimmy (Geraldine) Miller, and Ray Miller, all of North Carolina; special nephew, Mike Miller; also, there were ten grandchildren raised by Mr. Miller‘s father(Lonnie) as brothers and sisters to him. He was preceded in death by a son, Morris E. Miller, Jr. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church, 309 Weaver Street, Darlington, SC 29532. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church with burial in Parker Cemetery ( Gilchrist Road, Darlington) directed by Belk Funeral Home.
