Rita Daniels Morgan, 95, of Lumberton died May 18, 2011 at Wesley Pines Retirement Community where she had been a resident for three years. The funeral will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday at East Lumberton Baptist Church with burial at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service at East Lumberton Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Gray Morgan and husband, K.C. Morgan plus seven siblings. Mrs. Morgan was born in Sampson County on May 5, 1916. She was a homemaker and delivery route carrier for Greensboro Daily News and a faithful member of East Lumberton Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Elston Morgan of Lumberton, NC, W.K. Morgan and wife Betty of Albemarle, NC and daughter-in-law, Demaris Morgan of Lumberton, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Mark Morgan and wife Meredith, Melynee Falk and husband Gary Falk, Wayland Morgan and wife Vicky Morgan, Tony Morgan and wife Dawn Morgan, Shelby Morgan, Ramsey Morgan and Shawna Mickelson; seven great-children, Candace Morgan, Stephanie Morgan, Brandon Morgan, Davis Falk, Coleman Falk, Morgan Falk and Logan Walker.
