Copeland, Bertie

Bertie Mae Bryant Copeland, age 93, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Born April 20, 1918 in Darlington County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Brooks Bryant and the late Sarah Elizabeth Bowan Bryant. She is survived by her daughter, Jan C. Moseley of Lexington, her grandson, Hunter (Carolyn) Jackson, of Lexington, and nieces, Elaine Harrison, Carolynn Sweat and Helen Moody. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Thomas Moody. Graveside services will be held at Grove Hill Cemetery in Darlington on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at 3:00PM, directed by Belk Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lexington United Methodist Church, 309 East Main Street, Lexington, SC 29072.
