Wright, Arden

Arden Lynn Wright 69 of Maxton NC, died on Tuesday April 26, 2011 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg. Mr. Wright was born in Calgary Alberta, Canada on March 5, 1942 to the late Gibson and Berta Wright. He moved to the United States and received his citizenship. He served proudly in the United States Navy retiring after 22 years of service to his country. Arden loved the outdoors fishing, NASCAR and many other sports. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather that will be truly missed. Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Catherine Locklear Wright of the home; his daughters, Dawn Wright, Patrice Wright and Theresa Wright all of Maxton; two special granddaughters, Latasha Wright and Megan Wright; a sister Lorena Wright of Florida and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM before the service. A memorial service with full military honors will be held at 3:00P.M. on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Charles Oxendine and Rev. Billy Clark officiating .
