Moses, Louise

Louise Clark “Weezi” Moses, 68, died Sunday, April 24, in Lexington. Born January 17, 1943 in Robeson County, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Arielma Locklear Clark. Weezi will be remembered as being outgoing and able to make everyone laugh, everybody‘s mother, and the special love she showed to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved playing Bingo, playing “scratch off‘s,” and living for the day. She is survived by a special friend, William “Bill” Royston of Laurel Hill; two sons, Lloyd Keith Oxendine of Winston-Salem and James Moses of Laurel Hill; three daughters, Tammy Harger and husband, Daniel of Tennessee, Deborah M. Nash of Winston-Salem, and Victoria M. Hampton of South Carolina; seven brothers, Martin “Pappy” Clark, Jr., Herbert “Hub” Clark, Ander Clark, Benford “Shot” Clark, Raymond “Enoch” Clark, and Ben James “Buck” Clark all of Laurinburg and Benford “Sack” Clark of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Emma Bell Holt and MarGlenda “Nookie” Bullard of Laurinburg, and Virginia Hobby of Virginia; 12 grandchildren, Justin Moses, Joshua Bryant, Tyler Moore, Samantha Bryant, Dannielle Milligan, Kali Moore, Rachel Oxendine, Amy Clark, Timothy Moses, Stephen Oxendine, Bridget Milligan, and Kerri Harger; two great grandchildren, Angel Marie Porter and Lillianna Nikkold Porter. She was preceded in death by a sister, Savannah Harris and a nephew, Martin Harrison “Herb” Holt. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel. Burial will follow in the Clark Family Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
