FLORENCE: Mrs. Felicia McCutcheon Baldwin, wife of Edward Stanley Baldwin, Sr., died Sunday, April 24th, 2011, at her residence after a long illness. Mrs. Baldwin was born April 5th, 1938, in Lake City, a daughter of the late C. S. McCutcheon and Hattie Yarborough McCutcheon. She was educated in the Florence County School system and was a homemaker for 57 years. Mrs. Baldwin was a long-time member of Florence Bible Chapel where she taught Sunday School in her earlier years. She enjoyed homemaking, gardening, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Baldwin of Florence; her daughter, Rae Baldwin Smith (Dennis) of Lake City and son Edward Stanley Baldwin, Jr. (Tammy) also of Lake City; two grandsons, Robbie Strickland (Terre) and Kelly Strickland (Jackie) both of Hartsville; three great-grandchildren, Caleb, Madison and Jackson Strickland of Hartsville. She is also survived by her close friend and adopted-daughter, Wilhelmenia Myers of Scranton. Mrs. Baldwin was predeceased by three sisters, Wilma Altman, Valerie Driggers, Vennie Cannon and one brother, Carvin S. McCutcheon. The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice for their service and compassion. Wednesday, April 27th, 2011, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, 215 E. Highway 378 ByPass, Scranton. Burial will follow in Matthews Cemetery, Matthews Road, Lake City. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 26th at the funeral home.
