Betty Hill Lowery, age 65 of Aberdeen, NC died on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at her home in Aberdeen. She was born on February 1, 1946 to the late Will Hill and Gracie Edna Gainey Hill. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Wilkins Black of Aberdeen, NC; two grandchildren: Forrest Drew Black and Ashlee Marie Black; two brothers Buddy Hill and wife Linda of Sanford, NC; Leo Watson and wife Pauline of Missouri; a sister, Edna Hill of Johnsonville, NC; and a son-in-law, Forrest Gene Black of Pinebluff, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Martha Hill and Helen Hill and a son, James Ray Wilkins. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Watson Family Cemetery in Marston, NC. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 22, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines.
