Osborne, Barbara Ann

LAKE CITY: Mrs. Barbara Ann Kirby Osborne, 60, wife of Rondal L. Osborne, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011, after an illness. Mrs. Osborne was born February 7, 1951, in Florence County, a daughter of the late Eugene Kirby and Lilly Bell Lynch Kirby. She attended Paran Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Barbara Ann enjoyed deer hunting and fishing, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Survivors Include: Her husband, Rondal Legrand Osborne of Lake City; her children, Mannon Osborne and his wife, Lynn, Lorrie McDaniel and her husband, Glen, and Cindy Prosser and her husband, Shawn all of Lake City; grandchildren, Nichole Osborne and her husband, Andy Coker of Lake City, Ashley Osborne and her husband, Kelly Martin of Lake City, Corey Osborne and his wife, Brandi of Scranton, Kristin McDaniel and her husband, Matt White of Lake City, Michael Prosser and Chelsea Prosser of Lake City; great-grandchildren, Tyler Martin, Haley Coker, Katlyn and Nicholas Coker, Kaylee Osborne and Kirsten Mendiola; brothers, Richard Kirby and his wife, Gail and Roger Dale Kirby all of Scranton; sister, Margaret Kirby and her husband, Vanick of Lake City. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Darvin Kirby, Mannon Kirby and Rudy Kirby and a sister, Ruby Lee Matthews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 25, 2011, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Lake City Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
