Springs, Eula Altman

LAKE CITY: Mrs. Eula Altman Springs, 65, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 6th, 2011 in Carolinas Hospital System after a long illness. Mrs. Springs was born in Williamsburg County on April 8th, 1945. She was a daughter of the late William Tom Altman and the late Minnie Stancil Altman, and was the wife of William Springs of Lake City. Mrs. Springs was a member of Leo Church of God. Mrs. Springs surviving family includes her husband of forty-six years, William Springs, of the home; her two sons, Wayne Springs and Stanley Springs, both of Lake City; and her two sisters, Annie Bell Altman, of Lake City, and Barbara Jane Thompson (LeRoy), of Charleston. The family of Mrs. Springs will have visitation from six until eight o‘clock p.m., Tuesday, March 8th, 2011 in the funeral home. Funeral services for Mrs. Springs will be held at two o‘clock p.m., Wednesday, March 9th, 2011 in the Leo Church of God. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Brockington Funeral Home, Lake City, is in charge.
