Virginia Sullivan Wilson, age 90, of Lumberton, NC passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Cumberland County, NC on December 20, 1920 to the late James and Viola Jernigan Sullivan. She was a Deacon at First Presbyterian Church in Lumberton, lifetime member Presbyterian Women of the Church, served on pastoral search committee of First Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Church Sunday School teacher, charter member and past president Lady Lions, served on City of Lumberton Beautification Committee and City of Lumberton Woman of the Year. Mrs. Wilson is survived by a son, Coble Wilson, Jr. and wife Pattie of Lumberton, NC; a daughter, Mary Louise Stephens and husband Randy of Raleigh, NC; four grandchildren, Daniel Stephens and wife Cara, Jenny Baudoin and husband Reggie, Coble Wilson III and wife Sheryl, Dayton Wilson and wife Michelle; four (4) great-grandchildren; and adopted sister and life-long friend, Moody Blue. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coble D. Wilson, Sr. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church in Lumberton with Dr. Matthew Rich, Rev. Jack Crain and Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton. The family will receive friends Monday evening, February 14, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton and other times at the home, 2600 Kenan Street in Lumberton.
