Davis, Rebecca Jean

Rebecca Jean Stoker Davis, age 58 of West End, NC passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at her home. She was born on March 12, 1952 in Randolph County, NC to the late William Eugene Stoker and Susan Presnell Stoker. She was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church in West End where she enjoyed going for many years. She was employed as the office manager for over 15 years at Stewart Construction in Seven Lakes, NC. Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 15 years, Robert M. Davis, Sr.; one son, Tony Connor and wife Jan of Eagle Springs, NC; three stepsons: Robert M. Davis, Jr and wife Faye; Edward Davis and wife Rose; and Jerry Davis and wife Jerri all of Kinston, NC. Two grandchildren: Drew and Lauren Connor and 10 step-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Patricia Cocklin of Clarksville, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in West End. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 9,2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in West End with Rev. Tony Connor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
