Fulton , Ulysses

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die;” Ecclesiastes 3: 1-2a Mr. Ulysses Fulton, Jr., of Manhattan, New York, departed this life on Thursday, January 27, 2011 after an illness. He was the son of Ulysses Fulton, Sr. and Annie Lee Hannah Fulton on March 12, 1948 in Florence, South Carolina. Ulysses attended the public schools of Florence County. He joined Bethel Apostolic Church in Florence, SC in his early youth. He migrated to New York at an early age where he was employed in the medical field and building maintenance. He was predeceased by his father; four brothers, James Lee, William Lee, Roswell and Lamar Fulton; and several aunts and uncles. Ulysses leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Annie L. Fulton of Florence, SC; one brother, Jackie Fulton of Upper Marlboro, MD; three sisters, Carol (Randy) Stevenson of Lacey, WA; Novel (Charles) Douglas of Greensboro, NC, and Lucinda (Bradley, Jr.) Sellers of Florence, SC; one uncle, Wallace Spears of Florence, SC; one aunt, Annie Ruth Hannah of Lynchburg, SC; two special cousins, Raleigh Flemming of Newark, NJ, and Roosevelt Hannah, Jr. of New York City; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
