Lynda Bartley Branch, age 59, of Lumberton, NC died on February 3, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Robeson County, NC on July 31, 1951 to the late Frank and Almena Oxendine Bartley. She worked in textiles as a cloth inspector. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lucy Bartley; three brothers, (Buddy Roll) Willie Edward Bartley, James Delton Bartley and (Boot) I.V. Freeman. Mrs. Branch is survived by her husband, Charles Branch of the home; sons, Christopher Branch of the home, Grady Oxendine, Jr. of Lumberton, NC, Willie C. Oxendine of Lumberton, NC and Gregory Lynn Oxendine of Lumberton, NC; daughters, Angel Marie Oxendine of the home, Penny Sue Locklear of Maxton, NC and Jennifer Cribb of Lumberton, NC; sisters, Carolyn Bartley of Fairmont, NC, Ruthie Jane Lowery of Fairmont, NC, Arminda Oxendine of Rowland, NC, Louise Jacobs of Charlotte, NC and Brenda Ratliff of Jonesville, VA; brothers, Charles Bartley of Burton, SC, Kenny Bartley of Moyock, NC, Glenn Ray Bartley of Pensacola, FL and Samuel Bartley of Lumberton, NC; sixteen grandchildren, Samantha, Casey, Justin, Paige, Ashley, Tiffany, Faith, Fabian, Payton, Josua, Tequilla, Tyler, Breanna, Angel, Haley and Quadel; three great-grandchildren; her special caregivers Esther Oxendine, Frances Locklear and Linda Britt; and a host of relatives and friends and all of the staff at Caring Touch. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Fairmont with Rev. Ricky Burnett, Rev. Ronald Scott and Rev. Jeffery Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
