Hilburn, Agnes

Agnes A. Hilburn, 79, died Sunday Morning, January 30, 2011 in the McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Mrs. Hilburn was born in Thayer, MO., a daughter of the late Ernie and Bessie Linson Brazel. She was associated with First Free Will Baptist Church in Florence and was a homemaker. Surviving are her devoted husband of 57 years, David Ray Hilburn of Florence; daughter, Sheila H. ( Ricky L.)Rogers of Garden City; 2 sons, David D. (Suzanne) Hilburn of Beech Island, SC and Marty (Cathy Carter) Hilburn of Timmonsville; 3 sisters, Juanita Wilbanks of Koshkonog, Mo., Irene Madden of Thayer, Mo., and Donnie Terry of Springfield, Mo; 2 grandchildren, Toni M. (Jason Bass) Hilburn and Rick L. Rogers, II both of Florence; special friend, Ann Rogers of Florence. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sherri Hilburn and 3 brothers. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
