Britt, Annie Hudson

Annie Hudson Britt, 76, of Darlington died on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Mrs. Britt was born in Darlington, SC. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Gary, Sr. and Katherine Squires Hudson. She was loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be missed dearly by all. Surviving are her daughters, Martha Britt Drawdy and her husband, Jimmy of Lexington, SC and Teresa Britt Andrews and her husband, Alan; her grandchildren, Russell Deas, James C. ‘Jamie’ Drawdy, III and Matthew ‘Matt’ Drawdy; her two great grandchildren, Dakota Lane Drawdy and Kristi Simpson and husband, Justin of Greenwood, SC; her great grandchildren, Parker Britt Drawdy; her great great grandchild, McKinley Rae Simpson; her step sister, Gladys Miser; her step sister in law, Norma Nesbitt; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Britt was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Britt; her brothers, Thomas Gary Hudson, Jr., Roy Hudson, Gene Hudson, Barney Cleo Hudson; and her sister, Betty Nesbitt. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Kistler Hardee Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 1627 Rogers Road, Darlington, SC. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 28, 2011 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Kistler Hardee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Darlington Memory Gardens.
