Kinlaw, Jane Ivey

Mrs. Jane Ivey Kinlaw, age 74, of Lumberton, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2011 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She was born in Robeson County on April 23, 1936 to the late Edward Ivey and Gertrude Israel Ivey. Mrs. Jane was the owner and operator of Funshine DayCare Center of the Littlefield area. She is survived by her children, Billie Kinlaw Gray and husband, Mike of Lumberton; Kenny Britt and wife, Linda of Lumberton; Belinda Britt Revels and husband, Chris of Fuquay-Varina; Dennis Britt and wife, Tammie of Lumberton and Tilden Kinlaw and wife, Maggie of Lumberton; her grandchildren, Rodney Gray and wife, Amy, Melissa Gray Quick and husband, Wesley, Amber Britt Ferrell and husband, Jason, Michael Cafaro, Benji Revels, Andrew Revels, Kristen Britt, Dana Britt and Matt Britt; her great-grandchildren, Lexie Gray, Abby Gray, Ethan Gray, Marley Quick and Macy Quick; and her sisters, Ann Wallace of Smithfield, Mary Ivey of Columbia, SC and Violet Barbour and Sheila Ashinhurst, both of Clayton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-eight years, Dwight Patterson Kinlaw, her newborn son, her husband, Fred Neil Britt, Jr., a sister, Joyce Ivey Mork and a brother, Wardie Thomas, Jr. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 7:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Keith Eggert officiating. Burial will be on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 11:00AM New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 5:30-7:00PM, prior to the service, at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southeastern Hospice House, 1100 Pine Run Drive, Lumberton, NC 2838 or just help a stranger.
