Sutton, Robert

Robert H. Sutton, age 87, of Orrum, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at GlenFlora in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Robeson County on November 3, 1924 to the late John Henry Sutton and Mae Branch. He is survived by a daughter, Brenda Walters and husband, Mack D. of Orrum; two brothers, Horace Sutton of Fairmont, NC and Charles Sutton of Willington, NC; one sister, Louise Collins of Lumberton; three grandchildren; Denise McDaniel, Delane Callihan, and Dee Walters; four great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren He is preceded in death by his wife Merl Walters Sutton and daughter Robbie Leigh Sutton. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 3:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Rev. W.C. Baxley officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, January 25, 2011 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Rd. Fairmont, NC.
