Coble, Brenda

Brenda Lois Coble, of Laurinburg departed this life on Friday, January 21, 2011 at the age of 67. Brenda was born in Richmond County on August 27, 1943, daughter of the late Paul and Virginia Dunn Coble. She was a delightful lady that dedicated her life to serving others. Brenda was a Funeral Director with Butler Funeral Service formerly in Laurinburg retiring after more than 25 years of service. She faithfully served as a lifetime member of the Maxton Pentecostal Holiness Church. Before her illness, she enjoyed floral arranging and especially loved working with weddings. Brenda will be remembered as a precious and loving sister, aunt and friend. Brenda is survived by her brothers, Paul G. Coble and wife Ann of Laurinburg, Rev. L.M. “Mike” Coble and wife Elizabeth of Maxton, Robert “Greg” Coble and wife Kathy of Maxton, Kenneth L. Coble and wife Diane of Laurinburg; her sisters, Patricia “Pat” Coble Smith and husband John of Laurinburg, LuWayne Coble Butler of Laurinburg, sister-in-law, Cindy W. Coble of Laurinburg and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, David “Hank” Coble. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 23rd at the Maxton Pentecostal Holiness Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2011 at the Maxton Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by her brother, Rev. L.M. Coble. The burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Maxton.
