Jared W. DeBruin, 62, departed this world suddenly on January 12, 2011. The consummate engineer, Jared could not only identify any problem – mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or the like – but he knew how to fix it and fix it right the first time. He delighted in finding the perfect solution to any household issue, and, if the right part or tool didn‘t exist, he thought nothing of just inventing it. Under his occasionally gruff exterior, Jared‘s heart knew no bounds for those he chose to hold dear. He is irreplaceable and will be missed by everyone who loved him, including his wife of 41 years, Joan, his grown children, Chris and Kate, and his two young grandsons, Nicolas and Timothy. A gathering of remembrance for Jared will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at 2:00pm in the North Clubhouse at Seven Lakes.
