Mrs. JoAnn B. Johnson, age 62, wife of the Rev. Norman Johnson, of J.T. Barfield Lane passed away January 2, 2011, surrounded by her family. Mrs. JoAnn was born February 15, 1948 in Mullins S.C., a daughter of the late J.T. and Agnes Jones Barfield. She was very passionate about her family, her church and her Christian school, where she was the administrator of the ATC Christian School. She loved all her children at the school. She was a Sunday school teacher and loved to write. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home, are three sons Keith Johnson and his wife Wendy , Kevin Johnson and his wife Theresa and Kelly Johnson and his wife Charlotte all of Conway. Three brothers, Liston Barfield and his wife Norma Jean of Aynor, J.T. Barfield Jr. and his wife June of Conway, Tim Barfield and his wife Tammy of Conway, one sister Dorothy Lewis and her husband Wayne of Aynor, six grandchildren, Brooke Johnson, Dillon Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Joshua Johnson and Andrew Johnson. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at The Prayer Center on Hwy 905, with the Rev. Buddy Seay, Rev. Davin Johnson, and the Rev. Stevie Baker officiating. Burial will follow at the Pee Dee Original Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the funeral home.
