Barnes, C Miller

C. Miller Barnes, 60, died at home on Monday, January 3, 2011. Miller was born September 15, 1950 in Moore County to the late Clifford Miller Barnes Sr. and Margaret Hunsucker Barnes. He was a wonderful husband, father and son. He was a business man who owned and operated the Sleep Store & More for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Bonnie; son Andrew of the home; and daughter Elspeth of Raleigh. He is preceded in death by his father in 2003 and mother in 2010. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines with Rev. David Helms officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Southern Pines, 200 E. New York Ave., Southern Pines, NC 28387. Boles Funeral Home of Southern Pines is assisting the family.
