Floyd, Lillie Mae

Lillie Mae Floyd, age 84, died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at her residence after an illness. Born in Clarendon County she was the daughter of the late Samuel Clem Welch and Mamie Barfield Welch. Mrs. Floyd was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Christian Church. She is survived by four daughters; Eula Mae (Melvin)McElveen, Alberta (Chesley) Thigpen, Nellirea Miles all of Olanta, Thaye Dell Pate (Charles) of Turbeville. Four sons; S C (Jean) Floyd of New Zion, David (Patricia) Floyd of Kingstree, Lavell (Eddie Lou) Fjloyd and B W Floyd also of New Zion. Twenty-two Grandchildren and Twenty-nine Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Little Bethea Floyd. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at New Hope Christian Church New Zion with burial in Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery near Turbeville, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta.
