Bingham, Carolyn

Carolyn Miles Bingham, age 73, died at her residence in Lexington, Saturday December 25, 2010 after an illness. Born in Clarendon County she was the daughter of the late Ralph P. Miles and Margaret B. Brannon Miles. She was a licensed beautician and retired from Tupperware after 12 years with the company. Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Orell Bingham of West Columbia, two daughters; Sharon (Michael) Parks of Columbia, Hope (Douglas) Suggs of West Columbia. Two sisters; Juanita Levitre of Effingham, Helen Bazen of Johnsonville. Two brothers; Wayne Miles of Effingham, Gerald Miles of Johnsonville. Three Grandchildren; Lindsay Nelson, Brittney Thompson, Savanna Suggs. Two Great-grandchildren, Carter and Braelan Nelson. A special nurse, friend and caregiver, Jessie Hartwell. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm, Tuesday December 28, 2010 at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, in Lake City, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held from 12:30- 2:30 prior to the service at the funeral home. The family will also be receiving friends and relatives, Monday evening from 7-8 pm, at 4118 Platt Spring Road, West Columbia, South Carolina 29170.
