Dillon – Jody Lester Simpson, 46, died at his home December 25, 2010. Mr. Simpson was born July 24, 1964, in Florence, SC, the son of Vida Young and Lester Simpson. He was of the Holiness faith. He was employed with Smurfit – Stone as a Shipping Clerk. He is survived by his mother and father, Vida and Lester Simpson of Dillon, SC, his girlfriend April Lattymer of Dillon, SC, three sons Charles “Chad” Simpson of Dillon, SC, Cody Davis Simpson of Oakland, TN, and Weslee Rock Lattymer, of Dillon, SC., one daughter, Amber La’Ree Simpson, of Dillon, SC, one brother Jeffery (Betty Jo) Simpson of Dillon, SC, and Pamela Simpson of Oakland, TN. He was predeceased by a brother Charles “Ricky” Simpson. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Kannaday Funeral Home 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 28, 2010 with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday December 27, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in Kannaday Funeral Home.
