Harness, Ervin

Marion – Ervin Allen Harness, 60, died December 18, 2010, after a long illness in the Marion Nursing Center. Mr. Harness was born December 1, 1950 the son of the late Winnie Margaret Stephens and Ervin Harness in Dillon, SC. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a Wrecker driver with Bobby Gerald Ford in Marion, SC and was a Volunteer Fireman with the Marion Fire Department for over 25 years. He is survived by his wife Barbara Ann Harness of the home, his son Ervin Andrew Harness of Marion, SC, and his two daughters, Sallie Mae (Jamie) Summerford of Mullins, SC, and Stacie (Cleidson) Lima of Marion, SC. He is also survived by two brothers, Stacy Harness of Marion, SC and Terry (Meritza) Harness of Columbia, SC, two sisters, Virginia Gonzales of Marion, SC and Teresa (Michael) Maestas of Ewa Beach,Hawaii, and nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister Katherine Marti. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta, SC.
