Frank Sauter III, 81, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Frank was born November 15, 1929 in the Bronx, NY to the late Frank Sauter and Eleanor McKnight Sauter. He served his country in the Army National Guard. He moved to Seven Lakes in 1984 with his first wife, Lee who predeceased him. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Matilda “Terry” Sauter; son Steven Sauter and wife Lilia of Conway, SC; daughter Donna Lee Conrad and husband Bill of Bascom, FL; step daughter Maureen Pingel and husband Jack; step son Tom Haddican and wife Bev; five grandchildren; five step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Boles Funeral Home in Seven Lakes. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Chapel in the Pines in Seven Lakes with the Rev. Don Welch officiating. Interment will follow at Seven Lakes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seven Lakes EMS, 969 Seven Lakes North, West End, NC 27376 or the Chapel in the Pines, 2125 Seven Lakes South, West End, NC 27376. Boles Funeral Home of Seven Lakes is assisting the family.
