Dorothy Mae “Dot” Lee Lawrence, 83, the widow of Lloyd Lee Lawrence, Sr., passed away Friday morning, December 3, 2010, at Carolina Hospital System. Mrs. Lawrence was born a daughter of William Dewey Lee and Lena Belle Smith Lee on March 03, 1927 in Georgetown, SC. She was retired from Tupperware Manufacturing and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. She leaves behind a son, Lloyd Lee “Loco” (Carrie) Lawrence, Jr.; a step-daughter, Linda (Winston) W. Collins; a sister, Carole S. Lee; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be 6 PM, Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Hemingway Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. The Lawrence family will receive family and friends immediately after the service in the chapel. McKenzie Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lawrence family.
