Munguia, Pablo

Pablo‘ Munguia, age 88 of Jordanville Road, passed away December 1, 2010 at Conway Medical Center surrounded by his family. Mr. Munguia was born on January 5, 1922 in Matamoros, Mexico a son of the late Vincente and Sara Heredia Munguia. He was predeceased by his first wife Concepcion L. Munguia, one daughter Maria Sara Garza, one brother, Filiberto Munguia, one sister, Maria Igancia Soto. Mr. Pablo‘ served in the United States Army during World War II and retired from the Texas Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Aynor First Baptist Church and an avid gardener. Surviving in addition to his wife Olean Milligan Munguia of the home are one son, Eleazar Munguia and his wife Carmen of Houston, Texas, one stepson, Jeff Gause and his wife Melissa of Aynor, SC, two daughters, Irma Brown, of Euless, Texas, Yolanda Lopez and her husband Steve of Spring, Texas, two brothers, Alfonzo Munguia and his wife Petra of San Benito, Texas, Antonio Munguia and his wife Bea of Houston, Texas, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held December 4, 2010 from 1:00-2:00 PM at the Aynor First Baptist Church with the service beginning at 2:00 PM. Rev. Glenn Johnson will be officiating.
