Lee , Myrtle Fennel

FLORENCE: Mrs. Myrtle Fennel Lee, 67, died Monday, November 29, 2010, at McLeod Hospital, Florence, after an illness. Mrs. Lee was born April 26, 1943, in Florence County, a daughter of the late Oscar Fennel and Myrtie Springs Fennel. She was a retired cosmetologist. From her marriage to Jackie O. Lee, the couple have three daughters: Della (Robin) Powell of Florence, Diane (Ron) Evans of Darlington and Bridget Tingen of Florence; grandchildren, Michelle (Jason) Pate, Ashley Powell, April (Tommy) Wright and Jennifer Evans; great-grandchildren, Kent Pate, Kirsten Pate, and Caroline Wright; step-daughter, Linda (Mike) Braxton; step-grandchildren, Courtney (Michael) Shady and Shane Braxton; brothers, Dave A. (Joanne) Fennel of Johnsonville, John William Fennel of Lake City, Earl (LaDene) Fennel of Lake City; special friend, Mike Means of Florence; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 2, 2010, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, 215 E. Highway 378 ByPass, Scranton. Burial will follow in the Gaskins Cemetery, Cameron Road, Lake City. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Wednesday evening, December 1st, at the funeral home.
