Tiller, Wayne

Wayne Eric Tiller, 68, died Monday, November 29, 2010 at Grand Strand Healthcare. Born on December 28, 1941 in Narrows, VA, he was the son of the late Eric H. and Valena Anderson Tiller. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. For most of his adult life, Wayne owned an insurance agency in Roanoke, VA. Wayne & Mildy moved to North Myrtle Beach in 2006. They have been blessed with many cherished friends at Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church. The family would like to thank the loving staff at Grand Strand Healthcare who cared for Wayne the last year of his life. Mr. Tiller is survived by his wife of 45 years, Romilda Ann “Mildy” Tiller of North Myrtle Beach; son, Shawn E. Tiller and his wife Deanna of Fredericksburg, VA; daughter, Karen R. Tiller of Norfolk VA; and two grandchildren, Sarah and Emily. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
