Sypolt, Adalaide McCrea

Mrs. Sypolt, 81, died November 27, 2010, in Florence, SC. She was born April 29, 1929, in Kingstree, SC, to the late James McDowell McCrea and Alice Vonceil McCrea. Adelaide was retired from Cayce Mechanical Contractors. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and her two dogs; taz and buttons. More than anything she enjoyed her family and her many friends. She was kind and generous to all she met. Adalaide will be missed by everyone she knew and touched. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. The family would like to give thanks to Hospice Care of Tri County, and the Bethea Baptist Retirement Home. Special thanks go to caregivers Meredith Sypolt and Smitty Wrenn. Their kindness will always be remembered. Surviving in addition to her husband are: sons, Billy (Ann) Sypolt of Columbia, SC, and Kenneth (Peggy) Sypolt of Tampa, FL; daughter, Barbara (Dr. Jim) Mady of Florence, SC; brothers, Davis McCrea, Sammy McCrea, Rayford McCrea, and Henry McCrea; sister, Rounette Rowan; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Sinnott McCrea, and Archie McCrea. A memorial service for Adalaide McCrea Sypolt, wife of Bobby Billy Sypolt will be at 4:00 PM, November 29, 2010, in Bethea Baptist Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jeff Cockrell.
