FLORENCE: Mr. Paul H. Smith, 49, died Sunday, November 21, 2010, in Branchville, SC. Mr. Smith was born September 5, 1961, in Florence County, a son of William Daniel Smith and Pauline Culpan Smith. He was a graduate of East Rowan High School, Granite Quarry, North Carolina and was a construction worker. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved the outdoors—especially fishing and hunting. Surviving are: His daughter, Tonya Waggoner of Rockwell, NC; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Daniel Smith of Florence; two sisters, Kathryn S. Blackburn and her husband, Eugene “Speedy” of Effingham and Rochelle Smith of Florence; two grandchildren, Kaidyn Waggoner and Reagan Waggoner; two nieces, Danielle Little and Brittany Stephens of Florence; nephew, Corey Stephens of Florence; and two great-nephews, Chandler and Brysen Byrd. Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, 215 E. Highway 378 ByPass, Scranton, SC. Burial will follow in the Mossy Grove Cemetery, Coward. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 23rd, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer‘s Association, Coastal Carolina Chapter, P. O.
