Jacobs, Flossie Oxendine

Flossie Oxendine Jacobs, age 88, of Winston Salem and formerly of Fairmont, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010 in Winston Salem. She is survived by three sons, Tony Jacobs & wife, Kathy of Mt. Olive, NC; Gilbert Jacobs & wife, Nettie of Winston Salem, NC and Jimmy Jacobs also of Winston Salem, NC; two daugthers, Linda Burton & husband, Kenny of Winston Salem, NC and Brenda Mendoza & husband, Marvin of Maxton, NC; one brother,Tracey Lowery of Lumberton, NC and one sister, Arlene Lowery of Aberdeen, NC; 15 Grandchildren & 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Vick Jacobs. Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 17, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Rev. James Hunt. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. Burial will be in New Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery.
