Souders, Mary Bernard

Mrs. Souders was born in Roanoke, VA a daughter of the late Richard Benson Crowley and Mary Margaret Burkholder Crowley. She retired in 2000 at age 65 from the Financial Aid Department of Florence Darlington Technical College and was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Berry Lamm, Jr., who died September 10, 2001. Surviving are her children, Lisa (Barry) Free of Florence and Grace (Jack) Vines of Matthews, NC; brothers, Richard B. (Betty) Crowley, Jr. and Thomas (Anette) Crowley, both of Clarksburg, WV; grandchildren, Alan Free, Michael Free, Daniel Free, Courtney Murphy and Genevieve Vines and a number of nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 1:00 PM Monday, November 15, 2010. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home, with a Christian Wake Service at 7:00 P.M..
