Bullock, Linda King

Linda Mae King-Bullock, (62) beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend departed this life in the early hours of Thursday, October 28th, 2010 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. Linda was blessed by God’s tender mercy and favor throughout the difficult journey of her illness to her final reward. Visits and calls from family and friends gave her joy, love, and renewal of spirit. Linda was born May 10, 1948 to Bessie Brunson-Holloman and James “Man” Holloman in Myrtle Beach, SC. Linda was adopted and raised in the loving home of Willie and Dolly King also of Myrtle Beach, SC. Linda leaves behind her husband, David Bullock; two (2) sons, Dexter Joseph Young of Richmond, VA and Tyler Bullock of Baltimore, MD; three (3) grandchildren, Tyleia Bullock, Marcus Bullock, and Angel Bullock all of Baltimore, MD; four (4) brothers, Charles (Harriet) Hollomon of Sumter, SC, Gilbert King, Jr (deceased), Freeman Grainger, Jr. (deceased), and Ricky Grainger of Myrtle Beach, SC; three (3) sisters, Gertie Corbett, Delice Brown, and Quana Grainger all of Washington, DC; step-father, Freeman Grainger of Myrtle Beach, SC; two (2) aunts, Eva Elizabeth Wilson of Georgia and Juanita Hollomon of Sumter, SC, and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Linda will be missed by the many people she called “friend”, too many to name in this small space but we all acknowledge the important role each person played in her life. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Ocean View Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held noon Monday, November 01, 2010 at Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Fred W. Johnson officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home of Horry County.
