(MYRTLE BEACH) The Academy Players Present “For Whom The Southern Belle Tolls”
Coming to the stage at the Academy for the Arts, Science & Technology is “For Whom The Southern Belle Tolls” by Christopher Durang. The cleverly constructed parody of Tennessee Williams’ “The Glass Menagerie” reveals some skeletons in the family closet by a once-true Southern Belle, a neurotic borderline agoraphobic and a brother with questionable mannerisms. The curtain will rise at 8pm on November 5th, 2010 at AAST. The school is located at 895 International Drive, right off of highway 31. General admission is $5. For any questions or reservations, call the Academy at (843) 903-8460. The Academy Theatre Program has been going strong for 16 years and counting. If you’ve ever been to an Academy performance, you know that this company is always professional and high-quality. Prepare to be dazzled and amazed at the portrayal of “For Whom The Southern Belle Tolls”!
