Kalik Almor’ay McCants

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14 NIV Master Kalik Almor’ay McCants was born on August 3, 2009 in Florence, South Carolina to Haskell Williams, Jr. and Kelethia A. McCants. On Sunday, October 17, 2010, Kalik departed this life at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina. Kalik was a wonderful, precious, sweet, and a little “ole fat man.” He brought joy and happiness into every life he touched. Kalik would give you that million dollar smile and you would want to snatch that dimple out of his face and put it under lock and key. Kalik attended Christ Hands of Mercy Church. His grandparents Goldie R. White and Bobby Greene preceded him in death. Kalik leaves to cherish his precious memory: his parents, Kelethia A. McCants and Haskell Williams, Jr.; his only big brother, De’Andre A. McCants, Sr.; grandparents, Charlie P. McCants (Mindell), Haskell, Sr. (Gladys) Williams and Arthur S. White; great grandparents, Ezekiel (Mildred) Brown, Phyllis McCants and Ethel Tyler; one nephew, De’Andre A. McCants, Jr.; two special aunts, Annie and Jackie; god brother, Andrew Simmons; god sister, Quasia Simmons; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, loving god parents and friends.
