Iesha Glanoria Brown

IESHA GLANORIA BROWN, (22) was born May 11, 1988 to Wendy Brown and Roland Nesbit. God allowed her to toil in the tabernacle of clay for twenty-two (22) years, four (4) months and eleven (11) days. After a brief illness, on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 an angel was dispatched from Heaven to release Iesha from her duties on earth. On Friday, September 24, 2010 her loved ones accepted that she would not be coming home, but she had already gone home. Iesha was a 2006 graduate of Myrtle Beach High School. In 1995 as the family transitioned into a new religious movement, Iesha began to experience God in a different way. As a child, she loved going to church because she liked singing on the choir. She wasn‘t a dancer like the rest, but you would know when God was touching her. Iesha, like the children of Israel, knew how to get back in fellowship with God. She knew how to cry out until the Lord would come and visit with her. Before being airlifted from Myrtle Beach to MUSC, after prayer had been made, she cried out to the Lord as if she knew she needed him more than she ever did before. Known to many as “Baby Girl” she leaves to cherish her memories a son, Norvion Finkley of Little River, SC; a devoted mother, Wendy (Curtis) Sherman of Little River, SC; her father, Roland (Judy) Nesbit of Murrells Inlet, SC; sisters, Kenosha Gause of Little River, SC, Erika Brown of Maryland, Beverly (Ray) Bryant of Japan, and Curtise (Fabion) Rennis of Beaufort, SC; brothers, Roland “Junior” Washington of Georgetown, SC, Victor “VJ” Brown of Little River, SC and Kevin Brown of Maryland; grandmother, Pastor Victoria Small of Little River, SC; grandfathers, Lester Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC and Wilbur Small of Myrtle Beach, SC; fourteen (14) uncles; seven (7) aunts; five (5) great-aunts; two (2) great-uncles; a very special uncle, Spencer (Marquita) Gaither of Florence, SC; a special aunt, Samantha “Tooty” Small of Little River, SC; a very special cousin, Lacy Chestnut of Myrtle Beach, SC and a host of other family and friends.
