Harley Leslie Halliburton

Harley Leslie Halliburton, age 71, of Lumberton, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. He was born on August 1, 1939 in Dillion, SC to the late Alvis Halliburton and Grace Hayes Halliburton. He retired from the City of Lumberton Parks and Recreation Department and worked most of this time at Meadowlark Golf Course. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Roller Halliburton of Lumberton; a son, Jeffrey Halliburton of the home; a daughter, Rhonda Kay Halliburton of Lumberton; a brother, Larry Halliburton of Florence, SC and a granddaughter, Kylie Halliburton. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 1:00PM at North Lumberton Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Coats officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, October 19, 2010 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.
