Elwood Dillon

Services for Elwood Dillon will be announced later by Cooper Funeral Home. Mr. Dillon, 89, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at his residence. Born in Dillon County, he was the son of the late Lacy Dillon and Flora McKenzie Dillon. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Webster Dillon of Dillon; sister, Elizabeth Norton of Little Rock; brother, Leon Dillon of Floydale; half-brother, L.H. Dillon of Florence. Mr. Dillon was preceded in death by his son, Bryan Dillon.
