Willie Pete Cummings

Willie Cummings, Jr., age 53 of Maxton, passed away on Sunday, October 03, 2010 at his home. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Rev. Carson Smiling. A private interment will be held at a later date. Willie was born January 30, 1957 in Robeson County, son of the late Cilla Cummings Sewell and Willie Carter. He worked with Crestline Homes and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was also preceded in death by daughter, Rose Mary Cummings. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Jean Locklear and granddaughter, Payton Annalise Locklear-McNickles both of Fayetteville; his special companion, Debra Maynor of the home and her children, Chris Maynor and wife Ima of Maxton, Tracy Maynor and wife Marquita of Maxton; her grandchildren, Lonnie C. Maynor, Sholana Maynor, Jocelyn Maynor and Kiercelyn Maynor; his brothers, David Earl Cummings of Maxton, Jr. Ray Sewell and Carl Lee Sewell both of Bartwell, KY; sister, Mary Kay Cummings Lynn of Tunnel Hill, GA, and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5th at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
