are Ratings?
- To put it plainly they are a
percentage of a demographic in the market.
- So.. If we say a show has a
“4” with adults 18-49 that means 4% of all the adults 18-49 in the market
were watching that show.
- A “4”
doesn’t sound all that big, but when you realize there are
532,000 total adults 18-49 in the market that means 21,280 adults 18-49 were watching that show that
got a “4” in the Nielsen ratings.
