NASCAR fans are reeling after Saturday night's race.

Fredette says, “I think there's just a lot of passion."
Fans says it's part of the sport.
Michael Anthony & him brother Tom were in Darlington for the race. Michael says, “It's just a lot of fun, ya know. Just a good time."
But even non-fans say it adds energy.
Keith Duncan just flew in town for work. He says, “Violence sells. I mean, everybody knows. Think of any professional sport."
Controversy like Saturday's fight is nothing new. In fact, last week Ryan Newman and Juan Pablo Montoya had a similar scuffle.
Fans say it only adds to the excitement and makes the race better.
Speed TV Wind Tunnel host Dave Despain says its part of our Reality TV society, “That shouting and swinging and whatever it is that happens gets a lot of attention from media that otherwise might not pay a lot of attention to racing."
Despain says the publicity's great, but it takes away from a spectacular win, “Will it happen again next week? I doubt it. Will it happen at the All-Star Race? Bet on it."
NASCAR is still deciding what kind of penalty the drivers could be in for.
But in the meantime Belinda Howard and her girls say... taking it off the track is only natural, “You got all that money in the car and you're out there racing and if somebody hits you for no reason wouldn't you do it on the streets."
Officials at Charlotte Motor Speedway have issued an open invitation for drivers with a beef to settle it in two weeks... at the All-Star Race.
