Staff Sergeant Judson Garrick, age 30. Member of the Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 461, stationed at the Marine Corps Air Station in New River, North Carolina. Originally from Myrtle Beach, Judson graduated from Carolina Forest High School in 2000.  He has served with the Marines for 9 years.While stationed in Quantico for 5 years, he served in the Presidential Helicopter Squadron HMX-1, providing support for Marine One while President George W. Bush was in office.  His unit was featured on National Geographic's special "On Board Marine One". He is currently deployed in Djibouti, Africa. Judson looks forward to returning home to his wife, Carrie, and their 4 children, Andrew, Maddie, Morgan, and Elijah.

 


 

Each Thursday Night on Not the News, Greg and Kristine will profile a different member of our Armed Services currently serving.
